Frequently Asked Questions

Do I really need gutters?

Gutters play a crucial role in managing rainwater and protecting your home from potential water damage. While not every home may face the same level of risk, gutters are generally considered an important component of a well-maintained home. If you live in an area with significant rainfall or have experienced water-related issues in the past, installing gutters can be a wise investment to protect your property.

When do I replace my roof?

Determining when to replace a roof depends on several factors, and it's essential to regularly inspect your roof to identify signs of wear and potential issues. Here are some common indicators that it might be time to replace your roof:
1)Shingle Condition/Age of the roof:

-Curling or buckling shingles may indicate weathering and aging.
-Missing shingles can leave your roof vulnerable to leaks and should be replaced promptly.
-Granule loss on asphalt shingles may be a sign of deterioration.

2)Roof Leaks:

-Persistent roof leaks, especially after heavy rain or snow, can be a sign of a failing roof.

3)Visible Damage:

-Damage from storms, fallen branches, or other external factors might require roof replacement.

Do you offer roof inspections?

An exterior inspection allows us to check the continuity of roof covering, deterioration of fascias,
gutters and soffits, and the performance of flashings. An inspection will also include checking the
interior finishes for signs of water penetration, mold and/or mildew, and structural distress.
